WORDS FROM THE HOST: "My vision for this shootout was to create something modern and chic that incorporated a pop of color since it is summertime. We played with the sleek lines of the studio space and downtown skyline to create a fresh look that incorporated color and a soft playful vibe.”
Creative Director Brianna Broyles says: “We chose this particular color scheme because the pinks, oranges, and yellows were soft colors all within the same spectrum. By incorporating some of the citrus elements we were able to craft a cohesive look and then chose to add the mint and turquoise ceremony backdrop to create contrast."WE LOVE: How the wedding stationery uses two main colours, including a mint green invitation with a contrasting citrus orange response card. These tie in beautifully with the use of bold font. The white jumpsuit is a real delight and the overall styling from flowers to arbour and table is divine.
ADVICE FROM MIRANDA BOLAND: “Shooting a rooftop wedding has been a highlight! For any photographers just starting out, get out there and create. Invest in styled shoots and education because that is an investment in yourself. The more you’re shooting behind the camera, the more you are learning. Know your worth and stay true to yourself.”
